KENTWOOD, Mich. (WOOD) - A fire forced 240 workers at a furniture factory in Kentwood to evacuate their workplace Monday morning.
A machine caught fire inside Knoll Inc., 4300 36th Street SE, and it took firefighters about 20 minutes to extinguish the flames.
A Knoll official told 24 Hour News 8 the company inspects the machines daily and continues to investigate.
