Stove fan fire destroys Byron Twp home

BYRON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - A Kent County mobile home is considered a total loss after a fire sparked inside early Tuesday morning.

All of the residents escaped the fire at the residence in the Cutler Estates Mobile Home Park in the 300 block of S. Sword Street in Byron Township.

Firefighters arrived and saw flames coming from the home.

The fire started in the fan above the stove in the kitchen, fire officials told 24 Hour News 8 at the scene.
