GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - Target 8 investigators uncovered new federal documents on two high profile bank robbers.
Derryl LaFave and Kristopher Cheyne are responsible for the Ravenna bank robbery that led to their deaths and that of Walker police officer Trevor Slot in October.
New court documents show how much the pair made off with in an earlier robbery in Allegan County months before.
The documents show the pair stole 100,000 dollars in their first bank robbery in Moline.
Federal authorities have now seized two jet skis owned by the pair which were paid for with the stolen money.
They also paid 30,000 dollars cash for a building to house their airsoft gun business " Urban Chaos."
