Comic teaches about sexting dangers

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - It's a trend among teens: sexting. But if an inappropriate image sent via text is of someone under the age of 18, sexting is a serious crime.

The Kent County Health Department is taking a new approach to try and warn kids about the repercussions of sexting -- a comic book.

Lisa LaPlante of the Kent County Health Department spoke with 24 Hour News 8 about the comic book. Watch the full interview above.
