KENTWOOD, Mich. (WOOD) - A motorcyclist is dead after a car collided with his motorcycle Friday night.
The collision happened when a car made a left turn in front of the motorcyclist, who was traveling eastbound on 44th Street near Breton in Kentwood.
When emergency crews arrived on scene, the motorcyclist was unresponsive.
The driver of the motorcycle, David Edwin Stanaback, 58, was then transported to Butterworth Hospital where he later died from his injuries.
Kentwood police are still investigating the accident. At this time, the driver of the car is not facing any charges. The prosecutor will make that determination.
