ALPINE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - Two people are in custody and two others are sought in connection with an armed robbery at the Play N Trade store in Alpine Township Tuesday night.
Three people with handguns walked into the video game business, 4036 Alpine Avenue NW, at 8:38 p.m. and ordered the employees to the ground and stole various items before fleeing, according to a news release.
A police K-9 unit was dispatched to search the nearby York Creek Apartment complex where the suspects ran after the robbery. Police recovered some of the stolen property.
A Silent Observer tip led authorities to one of the suspects who was arrested in an apartment.
Detectives and road patrol officers tracked down a second suspect later that evening.
No other information has been released regarding the other two suspects.
