ADA TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - One person died and two others were injured in a head-on crash in Ada Township Monday evening.
Cara Cook, 18, from Lowell was driving north on Pettis Avenue when she lost control of her Chevrolet Cavalier, which crossed the center line and collided with a southbound vehicle, police said.
Rescue personnel arrived at 5:52 p.m. at the scene near Conservation Street NE.
Cook died from her injuries.
Kimberly Stubbart, 49, from Ada was driving the other vehicle -- a Land Rover. She and her juvenile passenger suffered minor injuries and taken to a hospital.
Everybody wore their seat belts, police said.
