BYRON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - Kent County sheriff's deputies said the woman who robbed a Bob Evans restaurant in late February also likely robbed a Peking Inn restaurant Saturday night.
Deputies responded to an armed robbery at Peking Inn on 68th Street at 7:13 p.m. Employees say the suspect entered the restaurant and waited at the cash register for a worker to come up to the counter.
When an employee appeared, the suspect showed a handgun and demanded cash from the register. The suspect then ran away after receiving an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect is described as a white woman in her late 20s, about 5-foot-4 to 5-6, with a thin build and black hair. She was wearing a gray shirt and gray sweatpants.
Deputies say this is likely the same suspect who entered a Bob Evans restaurant with a black handgun , demanded cash and fled.
Anyone with information on either robbery is asked to contact the Kent County Detectives Bureau at (616) 632-6125 or Silent Observer.
