MUSKEGON, Mich. (WOOD) - A simple way to avoid many winter accidents is to keep your headlights on and keep them clear.

In low visibility situations, having headlights and taillights on makes a dramatic difference. After a snow fall, remember to brush off your headlights and taillights.

It's also important to clap off windshield wipers and buy new ones when necessary. Also remember clear out windshield wiper fluid jets.
