Fire suppression systems mostly extinguished fire

GRANDVILLE, Mich. (WOOD) - Fire suppression systems at a Grandville tool-and-die shop mostly extinguished the flames, though firefighters dealt with heavy black smoke at the building on 44th Street SW Tuesdy morning.

The fire in a machine at BMC Bil-Mac Corporation began around 9 a.m. The employees were evacuated and most will not return to work until Wednesday.

Both Wyoming and Grandville fire departments went to the scene at 2995 44th Street SW. A cause has not yet been determined.
