GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - A car leaving a church parking lot caused an SUV to lose control and roll over on its roof, making contact with a school bus carrying two students.

The accident happened late Tuesday afternoon when a car pulled out of the John Knox Presbyterian Church on Kalamazoo Avenue. The driver did not see an oncoming SUV.

The driver of the SUV tried to avoid the car, lost control and rolled, and during the rollover hit the Dean Transportation bus. The driver of the SUV, a woman, was injured and taken to the hospital, but is expected to recover.

A child passenger in the SUV was not hurt, and neither was the driver of the first car.

Two students on the bus, from Campus Elementary, were also not hurt.
