More than 100 million Americans are without dental insurance. For more, expensive dental care is not an option.
One nonprofit organization is stepping in to fill the void.
Dentistry From the Heart is a country-wide collaboration of dental professionals, working to provide free care to those who can't afford it.
Dr. Mike Meyer of Lakeshore Smiles Family Dentistry, in Fennville, is participating in the program. He stopped by the 24 Hour News 8 studio Monday to talk more about the program.
