GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - A man who intentionally crashed his car into an Alpine Township bowling alley in May has been sentenced.
Brandon Lance ran his car into a the front entrance of Westgate Bowl on Alpine Avenue on May 19. He was originally charged with operating a vehicle under in the influence and assault with a dangerous weapon.
Tuesday, Lance was sentenced to two years probation and $5,638 in restitution.
Staff at the bowling alley told 24 Hour News 8 Lance had been asked to leave after he was involved in a fight. Moments later, he crashed through the doors.
A bowling alley waitress who happened to be near the entrance of the business was injured in the incident.
