GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - Accused killer Jack Jacqmain is now being held at the Kent County jail, 24 Hour News 8 learned Thursday.
He will be arraigned at 9 a.m. Friday in 59th District Court, according to a release from the Walker Police Department.
There is a witness in the stabbing, according to a probable cause affidavit obtained Thursday. Debra Smith identified Jacqmain as the person she saw stab Mark Moore on Aug. 18 at the Walker Motel 6.
Moore, 31, died on scene. Jacqmain fled the state and was extradited back to Michigan after being caught in Florissant, Mo. -- one week after allegedly killing the Indianapolis man police say he did not know.
Jacqmain was spotted by a Florissant police officer sleeping behind a 7-11 store off I-270, a source close to the investigation said.
Jacqmain gave the officer conflicting information regarding his identity.
He was wanted for a parole violation and the murder charges, and originally held in Jackson.
