GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - Jack Jacqmain was extradited back to Michigan from a St. Louis jail Wednesday afternoon. He left around 4 p.m., and the drive is about eight hours long.

Jacqmain had an extradition proceeding last week.

He is accused of violently attacking and repeatedly stabbing an Indiana man to death at the Motel 6 in Walker last month.

Jacqmain ran, which led to a massive manhunt that ended in Missouri -- where Jacqmain was picked up behind a 711 where he was found loitering.

Because he is being picked up on a parole violation, he won't be coming to the Kent County jail. Jacqmain will be taken into state custody, and the exact facility is unknown at this time.
