CASCADE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - Flying in and out of Grand Rapids over the next few days may be tough because of the weather, officials told 24 Hour News 8.
Some airlines are willing to work with passengers and help them change their flight, but you need to check on the status of your flight first.
United Airlines and American Airlines will allow passengers flying out of Grand Rapids on Tuesday and Wednesday to change their flight without a fee. Delta will work with people individually, but won't guarantee that fees for any changes will be waived.
Airport officials said they're fully staffed. During a major snow event, their priority is to keep at least their main runway clear and operational.
