GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - Robert Fisk will spend the rest of his life in prison for gunning down Robert and Norma Bean in a Kent County gravel pit in October 2008.
Fisk was convicted Jan. 29 of killing the Howard City couple. He was found guilty on all nine counts, including murder, kidnapping and home invasion.
Robbery was the motive behind the brutal killings.
Fisk and another man, Tim Stephan, invaded the Beans' home on the night of October 5, 2008 and kidnapped the Howard City couple.
Attempts to use the Bean's ATM card failed.
Eventually the couple were driven to a northern Kent County gravel pit where they were shot.
A jury deliberated for eight hours before convicting him. Stephan is already in prison for the crime.
