Driver dies after truck hits tree
Crash happened in Rockford on Wednesday afternoon

ROCKFORD, Mich. (WOOD) - A driver died Wednesday after his truck crossed the yellow line, left the road and struck a tree, Rockford police said.
The crash, which didn't involve any other vehicles, happened around 1:35 p.m. on southbound Summit Street, near Prospect Street, according to a news release.
The victim, later identified as 58-year-old Stephen Ostaszewski of Grand Rapids, was taken to Spectrum Health but died there shortly after arriving.
