BYRON CENTER, Mich. (WOOD) - A 25-year-old woman who hadn't been seen since Friday was found in Connecticut on Sunday. As of about 6 p.m., she was on a plane heading back to Michigan, according to her family.
Raquel Mayhanagian, of Byron Center, left her home around 5 p.m. Friday to meet her ex-boyfriend, Travis Ghent.
Mayhanagian wasn't heard from again until Sunday evening. Ghent also was found in Connecticut. Both are safe. Circumstances of the situation are unknown.
Ghent indicated he may harm himself in a phone call he placed Saturday morning, police say. Investigators say that phone call led them to believe Ghent was in the Cadillac area.
Mayhanagian is a Grandville graduate who works at Farmers Insurance and attended Davenport University, according to her Facebook page.
Ghent lives in the Jenison area.
