WYOMING, Mich. (WOOD) - Friends of two Wyoming Park High School teens killed in a drunk-driving crash gathered Monday night at the scene of the tragedy to remember the lives lost and continue their effort to send a message of preventing things like this from happening again.
The vigil took place three months to the day since the rollover crash on the off-ramp from I-196 to Chicago Drive in Wyoming that left Timothy See, 17, and Crystal Howell, 15, dead.
Several of their friends gathered on the off-ramp curve Monday to reflect and remember.

They put up reflectors in an effort to help warn drivers of the curve that many believe played a key role in the crash.
As some students head back to school in the coming weeks, those who gathered hoped the message of the tragedy that came at the end of the last school year isn't forgotten.
Last week, the teen driver of the car, Takuna Mavima, pleaded guilty to three of the eight charges against him as part of a plea agreement.
He has yet to be sentenced, but could spend more than four years in prison.
