BYRON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - Several firefighters helped control a blaze in Byron Township early Wednesday morning.

The fire started just after midnight at a small home on 76th Street SE just west of U.S. 131. The building appeared to be a part of a business, but did not look like it was currently in use.

The flames shot high into the air as firefighters arrived on scene. It is a total loss.

There were no reports of any injuries.
