GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - A young man involved in a shooting that injured a Kentwood youth pastor will spend up to four years in prison.
Jaylen Woods, who pleaded guilty to a felony assault and weapons charge, was sentenced to 18 months - 4 years for his role in the shooting that grazed youth pastor MarShon Peoples in the head at the Streams Of Hope community outreach event in January.
Another man, Devontae Collier, was sentenced last month to a year in jail and five years probation for his role in the shooting.
Peoples has recovered.
