GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - Two Lowell residents accused of luring a 15-year-old girl to an apartment and allegedly giving her alcohol before raping her turned down a plea deal Thursday.

Jonathon Crandall, 27, and 17-year-old Jillian Lemmink turned down a dealĀ  in Kent County Circuit Court that would have lessened the charges criminal sexual conduct charges they currently face.

The deal would have dropped first- and third-degree CSC charges against the pair.

Both will now go to trial on the original charges. No trial date has been set.

Court documents filed in January 2012 indicate that police allege Crandall gave the 15-year-old girl alcohol and marijuana. Crandall and Lemmink then had sex with the victim while she was under the influence, police said.

Crandall was originally charged with:

  • Criminal sexual conduct in the first degree.
  • Criminal sexual conduct in the third degree.
  • Accosting a minor for immoral purposes.
  • Furnishing a place for consideration.
  • Contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Lemmink was originally charged with:

  • Criminal sexual conduct in the first degree.
  • Criminal sexual conduct in the third degree.
  • Accosting a minor for immoral purposes.

Lemmink's attorney Matthew Herman has said she is actually another victim in the case and should not be charged at all.
