GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - More than a hundred Michigan Army National Guard members returned home on Saturday.
The Wyoming-based 126th Cavalry Squadron just finished a year-long tour of duty in Afghanistan.
They soldiers arrived at the Gerald R. Ford International Airport in Cascade Township and then traveled to their respective armory cities of Manistee and Dowagiac for homecoming ceremonies.
The guard members have been returning home in waves for a few weeks. The last set of 80 from the 125th based in Flint returned home last weekend. Eleven of those 80 are from Wyoming.
