ALBION TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - Rescue crews worked quickly to extricate a woman out of her vehicle after it crashed into a tree and possibly started on fire.
A medical helicopter then took the 25-year-old Homer resident to Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo where she is in fair condition as of Wednesday morning.
She was driving south in the 10000 block of 25 1/2 Mile Road in Albion Township, lost control of her car and crashed in front of a house at 10:24 p.m. Tuesday.
Calhoun County sheriff's deputies say alcohol and speed may be factors in the wreck.
