KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) - Some West Michigan communities are waking up Wednesday to a lot of snow on the ground, resulting in difficult traveling conditions.
Some of the hardest hit areas are south of I-94, with reports of at least 6 inches of snow in some cities.
Many roads are icy, too, and there were frequent whiteout conditions.
The snow showers will diminish to flurries in the afternoon, with high temperatures in the low 30s, according to Storm Team 8.
