Water main break floods apartments

KALAMAZOO TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - A water main break closed a portion of a road and flooded some apartments in Kalamazoo Township.
It happened around 1 p.m. Wednesday in front of Park Terrace Apartments on Kendall Avenue near Solon Street.
The complex is occupied primarily by Western Michigan University students, whom some told 24 Hour News 8 their residences were flooded.
A portion of Kendall Avenue was closed. Crews filled the hole in the road caused by the break and reopened the road Thursday morning.
