Principal resigns after 13 sex charges
Greg Tibbetts accused of sex with former student

VICKSBURG, Mich. (WOOD) - The Vicksburg Middle School principal accused of having a sexual relationship with a student has resigned.
The district released a statement Wednesday afternoon confirming Greg Tibbetts has resigned effective Nov. 7.
Tibbetts faces 13 felony charges following allegations he had sex with a teenage former student. Tibbetts has pleaded not guilty to those charges.
Taking over for Tibbetts will be former Vicksburg Middle School assistant principal Laura Kuhlman. She has been assistant principal since 2004.
