PORTAGE, Mich. (WOOD) - Electrical service has been restored to more than 4,800 Midwest Energy Cooperative customers in Southwest Michigan.
An Indiana-Michigan Power transmission line serving four Cooperative substations went down around 7 p.m. Sunday, according to a news release.
Transmission service to four Midwest Energy Cooperative substations was restored at about 4:20 a.m. Monday.
Some of the most heavily impacted areas included Mattawan, Prairie Ronde, Schoolcraft, Lawton, Vicksburg and Kalamazoo.
