CLARENCE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - Thieves broke into a storage trailer of a Calhoun County plumbing business and stole about 400 pounds of copper pipes on Dec. 21.

Authorities said the thieves first tried to cover a surveillance camera before they entered Triangle Plumbing on 26 Mile Road in Clarence Township. Once inside, they took 10-foot lengths of copper pipes of different sizes.

It's believed they left in an older model dark pickup truck.

A cash reward is available, and you're asked to contact the detective division at the Calhoun County Sheriff's Department or Silent Observer.
