Police: 'Missing' mom and 4 kids OK

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) - A woman and her four children who failed to arrive in West Michigan from Texas are safe, authorities say.
Kennth Gordon last heard from his sister Katrina Hernandez, 28, on March 5. At the time, she was headed with her children from Dallas to Fort Worth, Texas to buy a car she found on Craigslist. She was supposed to arrive in Kalamazoo March 7, but never showed up. Gordon's calls to his sister went straight to voicemail.
But Tuesday, a detective informed Gordon that Hernandez and the children are safe, he told 24 Hour News 8.
The detective played audio of Hernandez's voice for Gordon to confirm she is OK.
