Power returns for 3,500 people in Kzoo

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) - Power has returned to Kalamazoo homes after a car hit a power pole overnight. The crash knocked out power for more than 3,500 people.

Dispatchers told 24 Hour News 8 that a car slid off the road and hit the pole at Drake Road and Driftwood Avenue around 2:15 a.m. this morning.

According to police, crews worked throughout the night and have restored it all this morning.
