Woman's body found in BC neighborhood

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (WOOD) - The body of a 49-year-old woman was found in Battle Creek in what the police described as a suspicious death.

Socorro Miranda's body was found Friday in the 600 block of East Michigan Street near Porter Street, and was taken to Sparrow Hospital for an autopsy.

Police continue to investigate this death. No further information is available at this time.
