Pedestrian hit, lands on train tracks

Man suffered serious injuries

    KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) - A pedestrian was seriously injured when hit by an SUV in Kalamazoo late Friday night and then landing on train tracks.

    Around midnight, a Chevy SUV hit the man on Drake Road between West KL and West Michigan Avenue. The pedestrian went up and over the SUV and ended up on the train tracks nearby. He was rushed to the hospital for treatment of his injuries.

     

    Drake was closed for 90 minutes while investigators were at the scene.
