OSHTEMO TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - A masked man held up an Oshtemo Township hotel early Saturday morning and remains at large with an unknown amount of money.

Around 12:45 a.m., the robber entered the Best Western Hotel, 2575 S. 11th St., and demanded two bags be filled with money, police told 24 Hour News 8.

After the clerk gave him what was available, he fled in an unknown direction.

He is described as a stocky man around 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-8 tall, and was last seen wearing a royal blue hooded sweatshirt, a white mask, blue jeans and tan gloves.

The investigation continues so anyone with more information is asked to call the Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office at 269.383.8748 or Silent Observer at 269.343.2100.
