KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) - A 25-year-old man was shot outside a Kalamazoo convenience store early Sunday morning, and police continue to look for the suspect.
The victim has been identified as Jheryl Cecil Wright from Kalamazoo.
When officers arrived at the Quick Stop, 1405 Portage St., at 3:17 a.m. they found Wright on the ground outside the store's door. He was rushed to a hospital but later died from his injuries.
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety at 269.337.8994 or Silent Observer at 269.343-2100.
