WAKESHMA TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) - Kalamazoo police arrested three people and seized a loaded shotgun, stolen property, methamphetamine and methamphetamine lab components from a home.

A Kalamazoo Metro SWAT Unit executed a search warrant Saturday in the 13000 block of S. 42nd Street in Wakeshma Township.

Five people, all Kalamazoo area residents, were in the house.

The homeowner -- a 33-year-old man -- and his wife were arrested on outstanding felony warrants for assault with intent to do great bodily harm. Another man at the residence was arrested for violating conditions of his parole.

Two other people were briefly detained and then released.

Officers from the KDPS C.O.P.S. Division initiated the drug investigation some time ago targeting the location for making and selling illegal drugs, according to a news release.

Anyone with more information is asked to call the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety at 269.337.8994 or Silent Observer at 269.343.2100.
