KALAMAZOO TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - A 4-month-old boy was found dead in a Kalamazoo Township apartment Monday morning in what police are treating as a suspicious death.
The baby was found in an apartment at the Somerset On The Hill complex in the 500 block of North Arlington.
Township police Chief Tim Bourgeois says the baby was pronounced dead at Bronson Methodist Hospital and the death was considered suspicious.
The child's name wasn't immediately released, and an autopsy is scheduled.
The baby's father was arrested on an outstanding assault warrant, but police said there is nothing to connect the father with the baby's death at this time.
