Kzoo man robbed by three men

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) - A 21-year-old Kalamazoo man was walking early Friday morning when he was threatened and robbed by three men.

The robbery took place around 3:45 a.m. in the 5000 block of West KL Avenue in Oshtemo Township, according to the Kalamazoo County Sheriff's Department.

Deputies said the victim was walking near the intersection of KL Avenue and Drake Road when the suspects demanded money from him.

After taking the money, the suspects fled north into a nearby apartment complex.

All of the suspects are described as black men between the ages of 18 and 25 --

• One is 6 feet tall, has a thin build and was wearing a yellow sweatshirt at the time
• Another is 5 feet 8 inches tall, has a muscular build, a thin goatee, and was wearing a gray, hooded sweatshirt at the time
• The third is 5 feet 11 inches tall, has a muscular build and was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt at the time.
