KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) - A Jimmy John's delivery driver was robbed at gunpoint in an apartment complex parking lot, police said.
Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety officers responded around 10 p.m. Wednesday to the Arboretum Apartments, near Drake Road and W. Michigan Avenue.
Officers saw the victim -- a 20-year-old male employee of Jimmy John's -- who said he was making a delivery in the 4300 block of Thornapple Groove when two people approached him.
One of the two suspects pointed a silver handgun at the victim and demanded he hand over his money and cellphone, according to a news release.
The victim complied and the suspects ran from the scene. The victim was not injured.
