Gunman robs Portage gas station

PORTAGE, Mich. (WOOD) - The search continues for a man accused of robbing a Kalamazoo County gas station.

Portage Department of Public Safety officers responded at 4:18 p.m. Wednesday to the Admiral gas station, 5342 S. Westnedge Ave.

Earlier the suspect walked into the business and demanded money from the clerk after displaying a firearm. The suspect was given some cash and left the scene.

A K-9 unit from the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety could not track down the suspect.
