KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) - A former Kalamazoo pastor was sentenced to spend 7 to 15 years in prison for sexual assaulting two youths under the age of 13.
In May, Milton Wells admitted to second-degree criminal sexual conduct and third-degree criminal sexual conduct.
Wells was required to register as a sex offender and will be monitored by the state for the rest of his life, according to his attorney.
In February, Wells told 24 Hour News 8 he is no longer a pastor at Open Door Ministries.
He said he has also been the president of the Commission on Homeless and the Director of the Michigan Prisoner Reentry Initiative in Kalamazoo.
