Fire damages vacant Kalamazoo house

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) - Authorities in Kalamazoo are investigating a fire at a vacant house Tuesday morning.

Members of the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety were dispatched at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday to the 1400 block of Washington Avenue.

They arrived and saw smoke coming from the roof of the residence.

The flames were extinguished at 8 a.m.

The fire marshal is among those searching for a cause of the blaze.
