KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) - A man who pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in the death of his 13-day-old son has been sentenced.
Glenn Ross Sr. admitted to authorities that he shook his son Glenn Ross Jr. on Feb. 21, which resulted in the child's death the next day.
Ross was sentenced Monday to 25 to 50 years in prison with credit for 173 days served.
He was found competent to stand trial in early July and pleaded July 17.
Ross, his family said, suffers from bipolar disorder and ADHD, and couldn't cope with caring for the baby alone.
