EMMETT TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - Several hundred pounds of stolen copper wire linked to thefts from Consumers Energy power stations, firearms, various prescription drugs and waste from meth were found during the Wednesday evening search of a home in Emmett Township.
The Calhoun County Sheriff's Department, acting on information from Barry County authorities, found the apparent waste from meth production outside.
They got a search warrant, and inside the house they found the copper wire, drugs, several thousand dollars in cash and other property. They also discovered other meth waste products.
A 37-year-old Emmett Township man is wanted. Charges of possession of a firearm during a felony, possession of analogues and meth, plus received and concealing stolen property are being sought.
