KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) - A Kalamazoo County sheriff's deputy has pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge after being arrested for drunk driving.
Deputy April Barfoot, 35, was arrested Nov. 15, 2012 after Portage police officers noticed her car's engine and headlights on, and a door open in a bank parking lot. She was initially charged with misdemeanor drunk driving.
On Wednesday, Barfoot pleaded guilty to a lesser misdemeanor charge of operating a motor vehicle while impaired.
She was sentenced to pay $725 in court costs and fines.
