K-9 finds 2 who fled rollover crash

PORTAGE, Mich. (WOOD) - A police K-9 unit tracked down the driver and passenger who fled the scene of a rollover crash in Kalamazoo County.

Portage Department of Public Safety officers responded around 1:45 a.m. Thursday to the wreck on westbound I-94 near U.S. 131.

After being found near the scene, the driver was transported to a hospital for treatment to minor injuries. The passenger was not hurt.

Authorities are investigating possible operating while intoxicated charges in the incident.
