KALAMAZOO TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - A 37-year-old man was arrested at a Kalamazoo strip club after money tainted with red dye was linked to a bank robbery in Southfield.
Todd Jason Kettler went into the Angel's Gentlemen's Club in Kalamazoo Township Sunday night. The manager of the club called police after the money Kettler allegedly used was covered in red dye. Police arrived, interviewed Kettler and then arrested him for the robbery of a Charter One Bank outside Detroit on October 4.
Other evidence from the robbery was also recovered. The case has now been turned over to the Southfield Police Department.
Kettler was arraigned on six counts: three felony firearms charges, two armed robbery charges and one bank robbery charge. He's being held on a $1 million bond in the Oakland County Jail.
