SCHOOLCRAFT, Mich. (WOOD) - Schoolcraft police are investigating an accident in which they say a semi-truck hit a pedestrian Friday night.
Just before 6 p.m., authorities were called to the intersection of S. Grand Street, which is also part of U.S. 131, at W. Eliza Road.
Anne Daugherty, 60, of Three Rivers was walking across the street when the the southbound truck hit her, police said.
Police say the victim was taken to a hospital and listed in critical condition.
Both lanes of U.S. 131 were closed for some time while authorities investigated the crash.
