KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) - A student at Western Michigan University has tested positive for the H1N1 swine flu virus.

It is the first case on the WMU campus.

In a letter from WMU President John Dunn, the school was informed Monday that the male student tested positive.

The student, majoring in engineering, is recovering at home in an off-campus apartment.

The university is working to get in touch with people who may have come in contact with him.
